Respiratory Therapist – ICU (Permanent)

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute or chronic respiratory conditions in the ICU, initiating and managing mechanical ventilation and life-support systems. Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and other prescribed treatments while performing diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans, respond to emergency situations including code blue events, and maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment use during transitions. This role requires rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays within a fast-paced environment dedicated to providing life-saving care.
