Respiratory Therapist I

Job Summary
Conduct all clinical aspects of respiratory care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients, including alveolar recruitment therapy, lung expansion, aerosolized medication delivery, and ventilator management. Perform bronchial hygiene therapy, arterial blood gas analysis, non-invasive monitoring, infection control procedures, and assist with bronchoscopy. Manage medical gas systems and utilize therapist-driven protocols to drive appropriate patient care. Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist license from Ohio, BLS and ACLS certification, and an associate degree or higher. Part-time night shift at Kettering Health Wilmington.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Ohio
- BLS
- ACLS
- Graduate of Associate degree or higher accredited Respiratory Care program
- Must possess quality assessment skills and independent critical thinking, utilizing therapist driven protocols to drive appropriate patient care
- One year practice as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred
