Job Summary
Provide respiratory care to infants and children with acute and chronic conditions, administer and monitor mechanical ventilation, and deliver respiratory therapy across critical care, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Collaborate with the care team and families, contribute to professional development within the departmental ladder (including ECMO specialist opportunities), and perform assigned duties related to respiratory care in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy required; BS in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- National Board of Respiratory Care credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Massachusetts licensure
- NICU and PICU experience preferred
- NPS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS preferred
- One or more years of Respiratory Therapist experience in a tertiary hospital preferred
- Schedule: 36 hours per week with rotating day/night shifts and every third weekend
- Eligible for $20,000 sign-on bonus (not for internal candidates)
