Job Summary
Provide respiratory care services to patients in a fast-paced environment with complex acuities. Deliver rehabilitation, therapy, and sleep support while applying clinical knowledge to improve patient outcomes. Maintain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification and eligibility for licensure in the state of practice. Complete required Basic Life Support (BLS) training and pursue Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Work a 20-hour weekly schedule including an 8-hour evening shift and a 12-hour night shift. Join a multi-institutional health care system serving communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin with over 145 years of service.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
- License must be obtained within 6 months
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- COVID-19 vaccines or an approved medical or religious exemption

- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program
