Job Summary
Manage ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management in a technologically complex clinical setting. Deliver top-of-scope direct patient care using respiratory therapy protocols and best practices while partnering with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. Precept new healthcare staff and contribute to safety and quality initiatives at the unit, division, or system level. Practice across multiple levels of care in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- State licensure
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP within first year of hire and ongoing thereafter for all
