Job Summary
Direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders; consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy; serves as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care; flexible GIG/PRN per diem shifts (4, 8, or 12 hours) with day/night options and no weekend/holiday/shift requirements; RRT or CRT credentialing with NBRC, state RCP licensure, and 1 year experience; CoArc-approved program graduate; potential for incentive-based pay and benefits. Multidisciplinary collaboration in a hospital setting (Mercy) with opportunities for growth and involvement in expanding care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from NBRC
- PALS required for ER coworkers
- ACLS required
- Experience: one year
- Physical demands: push/pull/grip up to 50 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl
- W-2 employee status
