Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness and acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing. Manage duties assigned while utilizing appropriate respiratory care devices. Requires one year of experience, current RCP license, and RRT or CRT credentials; ACLS and PALS required for ER roles. Base rates are $35/hr for RRT or $30/hr for CRT with variable shift incentives. Flexible day or night shifts available in 4, 8, or 12-hour blocks with no weekend or holiday requirements. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
- Ability to pick up day OR night shift
