Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for nursing teams. Execute assigned duties using appropriate respiratory care devices. Requires current RCP license, RRT or CRT credential, and ACLS certification. Must have one year of experience with preference for critical care background. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and kneeling or crawling. Flexible scheduling available for day or night shifts in 4, 8, or 12-hour blocks at $35/hr for RRT or $30/hr for CRT plus variable incentives. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl
