Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for nursing on respiratory issues. Execute assigned duties using appropriate respiratory care devices. This role offers flexible day or night shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements. Base rates are $35/hr for RRT and $30/hr for CRT, plus variable shift incentives. W-2 employment includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for those working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Pinch up to 10 lbs
- Kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
