Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for medical and nursing staff. Deliver assigned duties while utilizing appropriate respiratory care devices. This flexible GIG position offers RRTs at $35/hr and CRTs at $30/hr with variable shift incentives. Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours in day or night rotations, with no weekend or holiday requirements. Candidates must hold an NBRC RRT or CRT credential, a current RCP license, and ACLS certification, plus one year of experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl
