Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy according to physician orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness and acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff. Manage assigned duties using appropriate respiratory care devices, with a preference for critical care experience. This GIG/Flex/PRN role offers $35/hr for RRT or $30/hr for CRT plus variable shift incentives, with 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts available in day or night rotations. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands include push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands include pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands include kneel, crouch, and crawl
