Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for nursing teams. Execute assigned duties using appropriate respiratory devices, including PALS protocols for emergency room co-workers. Work as a W-2 employee earning $35/hr for RRTs or $30/hr for CRTs with variable shift incentives. Schedule flexibility allows day or night shifts in 4, 8, or 12-hour blocks without weekend or holiday requirements. Requires one year of experience, current RCP license, and ACLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
