Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care in respiratory therapy according to physician orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness and acting as an advanced resource for medical staff. Manage all aspects of respiratory care using appropriate devices while adhering to state licensure and NBRC credential requirements. Perform duties as assigned within a healing ministry environment that offers flexible day or night shifts, variable hours, and shift incentives. Requires current RRT or CRT license, ACLS certification, and one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
- Ability to pick up day OR night shift
