Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for nursing teams. Execute duties as assigned using appropriate respiratory care devices. Requires current RCP license, RRT or CRT credential, and one year of experience. Must meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs. Schedule offers 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts in day or night rotations with no weekend or holiday requirements. Base rate is $30/hour for CRT or $35/hour for RRT plus variable shift incentives. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respirapist (CRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS is required
- Must have one year of experience, not to include time on orientation
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
- Ability to pick up day OR night shift
