Respiratory Therapist- Fulltime (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary disorders and acute respiratory conditions. Perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requires strong clinical judgment, proficiency with invasive/non-invasive ventilator management, ability to perform blood gas analysis and bedside pulmonary diagnostics, and excellent communication and patient education abilities; capable of responding effectively in emergency and critical care situations; supports the mission of Springhill Medical Center. Pre-employment drug screening and Alabama license required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current Alabama Respiratory Therapist license required
- Current CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- Experience with critical care and ventilator management preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
