Job Summary
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary disorders and acute respiratory conditions. Perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency and critical care situations while supporting the mission and values of Springhill Medical Center. Pre-employment drug screening required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current Alabama Respiratory Therapist license required
- Current CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC preferred
- Current BLS certification required
