Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Provide respiratory care and perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes. Promote continuous quality improvement and teach or counsel patients and families. Maintain active CRT or RRT credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care, current state licensure, and Basic Life Support certification. Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support within six months of hire. Join a critical illness recovery hospital offering extensive orientation, tuition reimbursement, and a clinical ladder program.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire)
