Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Provide respiratory care and perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes. Promote continuous quality improvement and teach or counsel patients and families. This role operates full-time at night in Richmond, VA, with a salary of $34.00 to $45.77 plus differentials and a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential, current state licensure, and BLS certification, with ACLS required within six months. Join a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to extended healing for post-ICU patients.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire)
