Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist sought for full-time night shift at Mercy South. Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders, consults with physicians on therapy effectiveness, and serves as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff. Will be assigned to the NICU on a rotating basis; will consider Certified Respiratory Therapists. Requires graduation from a CoARC-approved program, and current RCP license with NBRC RRT credential; PALS if working in ER. ACLS preferred; critical care experience preferred. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for staff working 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state requirements.
- Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC; PALS for ER if working in ER.
- Other: Physical demands up to 50 lbs push/pull, pinch up to 10 lbs, kneel/crouch/crawl.
