Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders; consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy; act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing on respiratory care; trains on NICU on a rotating basis; requires graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential; ACLS (and PALS for ER) recommended; 36 hours/week with nights; possible $20,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs; Mercy offers benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the NBRC
- PALS is required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- ACLS preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
