Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist - Night shift: Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders, working in Mercy's NICU on a rotating basis with training and assignment to NICU. Must hold RRT credential and RCP license; CoArc-grad required. Applies to full-time role with 36 hours/week (6:30p-7:00a) and potential $20,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs. Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff as an advanced resource in respiratory care; may participate in ACLS/PALS as applicable; prior critical care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC
- PALS (for ER)
- ACLS preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
- Ability to perform duties with physical demands (push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl)
