Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Nights

Job Summary
Direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders; consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy; serves as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care; assigned to NICU on a rotating basis; full-time nights (36 hours/week, 6:30p-7:00a) at Mercy South; eligible for $20,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs; requires NBRC RRT, state license as RCP, and CoARC-approved Respiratory Care education; PALS required in ER; ACLS preferred; prior critical care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the NBRC; PALS required for ER
- Other: Physical demands include lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs, kneel/crouch/crawl as specified
