Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans while providing respiratory care for critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes and promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families throughout their recovery journey. This full-time day shift role at Select Specialty Hospital in Morgantown, WV, supports a critical illness recovery setting focused on extended healing for post-ICU patients.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire)
