Job Summary
Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders; consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy; acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care; duties assigned, with All Part- and Full-Time RTs trained and assigned to the NICU on a rotating basis. Will consider Certified Respiratory Therapists. Full Time - 36 hours/week, Day Shift; $20,000 bonus for RRTs. Mercy South in Edwardsville, IL. Requires graduation from a CoArc-approved respiratory care program, current Respiratory Care Practitioner license, and NBRC-credentialed RRT (PALS required for ER). Prefer critical care experience and ACLS; benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for qualifying staff." ,
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential NBRC
- PALS certification for ER (if working in Emergency Room)
