Job Summary
Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans, providing respiratory care for those with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes while promoting continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families regarding their care. Maintain active CRT or RRT credentials, current state licensure, and BLS certification, with ACLS required within six months of hire. Join a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to post-ICU services for chronically and critically ill patients.
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire)
