Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist delivers respiratory care per departmental standards, operates and manages respiratory care equipment (ventilators, NIPPV/CPAP, high-flow devices), and provides care with considerable independent judgment. Functions as a technical resource to physicians and healthcare staff, applying current practices in respiratory care and managing invasive ventilation modes (AC, PSV, PC, APRV, Bi-level). Requires Associate's degree and CT licensure with NBRC credentials; full-time night shift (12-hour) with weekend differentials; benefits from day-one eligibility. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care
- minimum of a two-year Associate's Degree
- Current State of CT Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified (CRT) by NBRC
