Respiratory Therapist FT Nights

Treat patients in acute and critical care settings by performing respiratory therapy general and critical care procedures per physician orders and departmental policy. Initiate, monitor, and manage patients requiring invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation while managing airways and associated equipment. Obtain blood gases, analyze results, and document charges for procedures. Provide patient and family education, communicate with the healthcare team including students and nurse shadows, and adhere to infection control and quality initiatives by disinfecting equipment between patients. Work nights at Blount Memorial Hospital with a Respiratory Care Practitioner license, RRT certification, and BLS.
