Respiratory Therapist FT Nights

Treat patients in acute and critical care settings by performing respiratory therapy general and critical care procedures, initiating and managing invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, and managing airways and associated equipment. Obtain blood gases, analyze results, and document charges for respiratory care procedures while providing patient and family education. Communicate with the healthcare team, including students and nurse shadows, to provide accurate reports and make treatment recommendations. Adhere to infection control initiatives by performing equipment cleaning and disinfection between patients. Requires an Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, RRT certification, and BLS/NRP/ACLS licenses. Night shift at Blount Memorial Hospital.
