Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders, consulting on therapy effectiveness and acting as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing. Manage duties assigned while utilizing appropriate respiratory care devices, with rotation to the NICU for both part-time and full-time staff. Full-time, 36 hours/week, day shift. $20,000 sign-on bonus for RRTs. Requires current RCP license and RRT credential; ACLS preferred. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
- Full Time - 36 hours/week, Day Shift
- All Part- and Full-Time RTs will train on and be assigned to the NICU on a rotating basis
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Prefer critical care experience
