Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing. Rotate assignment to the NICU on a rotating basis while performing assigned duties. Maintain current Respiratory Care Practitioner license and Registered Respiratory Therapist credential. Work full-time day shifts with a $20,000 sign-on bonus available for RRTs. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and performing push, pull, and grip tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- PALS required for co-workers who work in the Emergency Room
- Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Physical demands: pinch up to 10 lbs
- Physical demands: kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Prefer critical care experience
