Job Summary
Administer and manage respiratory care per physician orders, acting as a workgroup leader and unit coordinator. Develop, evaluate, and modify patient care plans while collaborating with physicians and nurses. Serve as a respiratory consultant to all hospital service lines, attend daily rounds, and facilitate quality improvement projects. Maintain competency in invasive and non-invasive procedures, including establishing artificial airways during emergencies. Provide patient and family education, participate in clinical trials, and perform routine equipment maintenance. Work full-time night shifts in Columbia County, with a $15,000 shift differential for SOBs. Requires an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, current Georgia license, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT. Minimum two years of critical care experience preferred.

- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support or ARC-PALS - Amer Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support or PALS-I - PALS - Instructor or PALS-P - PALS-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ARC-NALS - Amer Red Cross Neonatal Advanced Life Support or NRP-I - NRP - Instructor or NRP-P - NRP-Provisional (180 Days) within 180 Days
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Prof
- Current Georgia Respiratory Care Professional
- Minimum 2 years Critical Care
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of patient care
- Ability to delegate to other team members as required
- Ability to multi-task essential
- Ability to function in stressful and emergency situations essential
- Strong detail orientation required
- Knowledge of surgical procedures required
- Basic computer skills are required
