Job Summary
Manage ventilator integration, adaptive pulmonary support, and airway management in a technologically complex clinical setting while providing top-of-scope respiratory therapy protocols. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and secure safety at the point of care. Precept new healthcare staff and contribute to clinical and process improvement projects across the unit, division, and system levels.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- NRP obtained within 1 year if assigned to NICU
- PALS within 1 year if assigned to ED
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
