Job Summary
Direct patient care as a Respiratory Therapist in UCHealth's Emergency Department within a technologically advanced clinical setting. Manages ventilator integration and airway management across multiple levels of care; collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes; adheres to respiratory therapy protocols and evidence-based practices; participates in clinical ladder opportunities and internal growth initiatives; precepts new staff and welcomes ongoing learning to improve safety, quality, and patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC
- State licensure
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- NRP within 1 year if NICU assigned; tracked on unit
- PALS within 1 year if ED; tracked on unit
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS or CPR card in-hand through start date
