Job Summary
Educate patients on proper use and care of respiratory equipment, primarily PAP devices, through in-home, virtual, or in-office visits. Utilize SleepGlad software for mask fittings and perform troubleshooting and maintenance checks on PAP-related equipment, entering data into Brightree. Document all therapy interactions and paperwork accurately, inform physicians of patient status changes, and assist the compliance team with achieving patient compliance goals. Provide patient equipment and supplies per physician prescriptions while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree
- CRTT, RRT, LPN or RN
- Must carry personal liability car insurance with a minimum limit of $100,000
- Knowledge of Respiratory Therapy and related HME equipment
- Must be willing to commute (at your expense) to other branch locations within a 60-mile radius from our Nashville office
- Must be able to pass background requirements and drug screenings
- Must have valid driver's license with proof of clean driving record
- Must be 21 years of age to comply with company auto insurance regulations
- Ability to drive an automobile
- Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend over, kneel, sit or stand for extended periods of times as needed to meet customer's needs
- This position requires the ability to drive an automobile
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in HME or Home Health industry preferred or equivalent experience in respiratory therapy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Courteous Customer Service (internally and externally)
- Must love helping People (both internally and externally)
- High level of attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities and close the loop when interrupted
