Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist – DAYS in Orlando, FL. Provides routine and emergency respiratory care across patient care areas under supervision, with clinical direction to trainees and technicians. Delivers aerosolized meds, airway clearance and management (including trach changes, tube taping, suctioning), ventilator setup/management, non-invasive monitoring (ABG, SpO2, ETCO2), and participates in transport, discharge planning, and education for patients/families. Documents in EMR, collaborates with physicians and nurses, and maintains current knowledge of departmental policies. Requires Florida license and NBRC RRT, BLS; PALS within 6 months. Schedule: 72 hours biweekly, day shift with weekend/holiday requirements. Sign-on bonus $15k for external applicants with 3+ years Pediatric ICU RT experience.
Required Qualifications
- Florida State License required
- NBRC – RRT required
- American Heart Association BLS required; PALS within 6 months of hire
- Sign on Bonus Eligibility: Must have 3 years of Pediatric ICU RT experience and will receive a $15,000 sign on bonus
