Job Summary
Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver therapies, monitor patient responses, and adjust care plans. Administer respiratory therapy treatments, monitor effectiveness, educate patients’ families on respiratory care and management, and participate in resuscitative and emergent situations. Deliver therapeutic, diagnostic, consultative, and supportive services across neonatal through adult patients, adhering to professional and hospital standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented pediatric environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- CRT and RRT certification
- Current CPR certification - BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Current PALS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) or required within 6 months
- Completion of a respiratory therapy program
- Demonstrated ability to provide respiratory care to pediatric patients and collaborate with healthcare team
