Job Summary
Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management. Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and instruct on CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, Cough Assist devices, and Oscillation vests. Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care. Ensure proper functionality of equipment through inspection and testing. Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records. Requires Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification and active Texas license, plus valid driver’s license for home/hospital visits. The role emphasizes patient care, collaboration with a clinical team, and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with occasional on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Texas
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits
