Provide respiratory care including patient assessment, oxygen delivery, aerosolized medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy; administer therapies; assist with artificial airways and initiate/monitor/maintain mechanical ventilation; monitor therapeutic response and intervene as needed; assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients; respond to emergent situations to ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation.
