Job Summary
Part-time position for a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, and support to patients from neonatal to geriatric at Ochsner Health. Requires associated degree, licensure, and specific certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability)
- Individuals residing in certain states (Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C.) are not eligible for remote work position.
