Job Summary
Deliver Respiratory Therapist CRT PRN support with proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care, executing assignments per hospital policies; may work with Respiratory Students in clinical care; requires NBRC credentialing, Texas licensure, and BLS certification. Responsibilities include patient assessment, respiratory care procedures, ventilator management, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in an acute hospital setting. Eligible candidates typically have 1 year of experience and have completed an accredited Respiratory Care program; CNA/other roles not required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC
- Credentialed as CRT by NBRC upon hire
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
- One-year experience in Respiratory Care preferred
