Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist opportunity at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. Under general supervision provides respiratory care across the patient population (neonates through geriatric), including bronchodilators, chest physical therapy, oxygen therapy, and both non-invasive and invasive ventilator care. Applies knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and pathology and operates respiratory therapy equipment. Requires RRT/RCP licensure, current BLS and ACLS, with NICU/PICU-specific certifications (PALS for PICU and NRP for NICU).
Required Qualifications
- Current permanent or temporary license issued by the Texas Department of Health to practice Respiratory Care. RRT/RCP
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Anyone assigned to PICU must maintain current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Anyone assigned to NICU must maintain current NRP certification from the American Heart Association
