Respiratory Therapist CRT Part-time

As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT II), administer therapy modalities as ordered by physicians, including initiation and management of mechanical ventilators, arterial puncture and blood gas analysis. Verify physician orders before therapy, provide thorough handoff reports at shift end, perform equipment rounds, and maintain high-quality patient care. Requires NBRC RRT certification, Virginia licensure, a Respiratory Therapy degree (AAS or BS), and at least one year of critical care experience with NICU exposure; prior experience with mechanical ventilation, blood gas analysis, and oximetry is expected.
