Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic testing including EKGs, Holter monitors, ABGs, and PFTs while maintaining blood gas instrument quality control. Administer medications via NMT/MDI/DPI and perform pulmonary clearance procedures using PEP, Vest, and CPT. Manage ventilator and BIPAP patients, including suctioning and airway maintenance, while charting therapy responses and progress in the EMR. Prioritize workload to complete assignments as expected and perform other duties as required. Work nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., 24 hours per week, including every other weekend. Earn shift premiums for second, third, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
- Has attained certification (CRT) or registry (RRT) in Respiratory Therapy
- is licensed to provide respiratory care in the state of Michigan
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- TEAM certification
