Respiratory Therapist

Conduct physician prescribed treatments including hand-held nebulizer therapy, nasal oxygen devices, and chest physical therapy. Set up, operate, and monitor ventilators while participating in weaning processes using physician direction and protocols. Provide consultation to unit staff, assist the manager with daily monitoring, and mentor new employees. Explain treatment procedures to patients and caregivers, then document all education on patient forms. Complete all lead therapist duties outlined by the manager.
