Job Summary
Assess and monitor residents with respiratory conditions, perform diagnostic testing to evaluate lung function, and interpret results for the care team. Provide airway management including secretion removal, respond to emergencies with resuscitation support, and educate residents on health, treatments, and equipment use. Collaborate with physicians on individualized treatment plans while strictly following infection control, safety, and clinical care protocols. Maintain resident dignity and beliefs throughout all interactions. This role requires a graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with current credentials and a valid license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current, valid Respiratory Therapist credentials/license
Desired Qualifications
- Respiratory care experience preferred (LTC/post-acute a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organization
