Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic pulmonary function testing, including calibration, operation, and performance of equipment while documenting 6-minute walk tests. Deliver clinical aerosol medications and manage emergency procedures, performing patient assessments and education on medication delivery systems and disease state management. Maintain infection control protocols per CDC guidelines and utilize Epic EMR for documentation and report scanning. Requires Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy, NY State license, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from a Respiratory Therapy education program accredited by CoARC
- New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician or Respiratory Therapist license
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association
- Basic computer skills
