Job Summary
Conduct cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services with a strong emphasis on patient education and exercise prescription at UW Health 9th St. Clinic. Deliver 80% FTE coverage across day and evening shifts, with additional components including evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Maintain current RRT credential and Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license, supported by comprehensive benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) Accredited Program for Respiratory Therapy
- 3 years experience in pulmonary related field with strong emphasis in patient education
- Current Registration (RRT credential) from the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- License from the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (within 90 days of passing test for new grads)
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification
