Job Summary
Responsible for the assessment, treatment, and management of the cardiopulmonary system for neonates through adults, including oxygen therapy, airway clearance, blood gas analysis, and ventilator management. Proficient with modalities of respiratory care, may participate in the sleep lab, document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. Involves evaluation of plans of care, administration of respiratory therapies, arterial/capillary punctures, and potential involvement in pulmonary rehab and sleep studies; requires strong communication and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required upon hire
- Bachelor's degree preferred
