Job Summary
Provide respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic care to patients in critical care, general care, and emergency care areas. Perform electrocardiogram and other related examinations as directed. Maintain current licensure with the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy and National Board of Respiratory Care, along with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Requires one to two years of clinical experience and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Full-time third shift position in Athens-Limestone.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduated from a CoArc accredited program
- Current licensure by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Current licensure thru the National Board of Respiratory Care
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- One to two years' clinical experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
