Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Assistant PRN at Blount Memorial Hospital. Under supervision of a Respiratory Therapist, performs respiratory care procedures per physician orders and department policy, documents and bills for procedures, educates patients and families, communicates effectively with supervisors and teammates, and adheres to infection control standards. May perform blood gases from all sites and is involved in quality initiatives. Role supports clinical progression/competency validation for students or new graduates awaiting credentialing, with no prior experience required and a variable shift. Location: Blount Memorial Hospital, Maryville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an approved school for respiratory care; OR new/recent graduates of a school of respiratory care who are awaiting credentialing.
